The Professional Psychologists trained at the Institute of Professional Psychology are serving in hospitals and clinics. It will not be out of place to mention that they are working in the Armed Forces (in Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force), in the Civil Services Sector (CSS), NGOs such as Marie Stopes Society of Pakistan, Azad foundation, Karwan-e-Hayat and Clinical institutes like IBS (Dr. A.Q. Khan Centre).

Apart from working as Professional Psychologists the individuals trained in the Institute are working as Faculty members in Universities and Educational Institutions all over Pakistan such as G.C Lahore, Punjab University, Faisalabad University, SZABIST, Bahauddin Zakaria University, FAST, Beacon House University and many of them are working abroad as well as doing research in foreign universities.

After the traumatic Earthquake of 2005; many alumni served the nation and joined hands in helping the people recover and find psycho-social adjustment in their lives.
